I’m a parent of two based in the UK, and camping with the kids is my favourite thing in the world.

I started this site to share everything with you, the equipment worth buying, the sites worth visiting, and the mistakes definitely worth avoiding.

You’ll get frustrated, things will go wrong, and you will leave things at home. But when it clicks, there’s no place I’d rather be.

I’ve got plenty of information on site, from tips and advice for family camping to camping games for kids, camping recipes for families, honest family camping equipment reviews, and recommendations for family friendly campsites across the UK.

My aim is to do everything for you. Except put the tent up. You’re on your own with that one.
